Carpool service KINTO Share enters the Swedish market to the tones of “I Samma Bil” by Bo Kaspers Orkester
KINTO Share is a new carpool-service that launched in Stockholm during the summer 2020. Now KINTO Share has turned to The&Partnership for their first campaign. In the campaign we see how KINTO Share offers cars for every customer and every need. All to the familiar tones of “I samma bil” by Bo Kaspers Orkester.
KINTO Share is a new mobility service from the Toyota brand, who are already one of The&Partnership’s clients. When it was time for their first campaign, the natural choice fell on The&Partnership.
“It was important for us that the communication felt local and could visualize our vision about mobility for all. To be able to offer our customers everything from small cars to larger vans is a unique part of our business offering”, says Sandra Ryberg, sales- and marketing director at KINTO Share.
“We are aware of that the campaign encourages movement during times when we all should limit our travelling. But we also know that travelling in your own car is a safer alternative for many. KINTO is an enabler to get to places outside of the city together with your closest family in a safe way”, Sandra continues.
In the commercials we see how different people with different needs use KINTO Share, both in private and for business occasions. You get the feeling that KINTO ties them all together while the seamless shifting between the cars binds the scenes together. To strengthen the message, Bo Kaspers Orkester’s famous song “I Samma Bil” (eng. “In the same car”), is playing in the background. The core message becomes how a carpool both can solve the everyday logistics and also open up for new opportunities and adventures.
“A carpool is not only a safer alternative for many to travel during these times. First and foremost, it’s a climate smart and economically beneficial alternative to traditional car owning”, says Timo Orre, creative director at The&Partnership. “With this campaign, we want to show how membership in a carpool is a good alternative to traditional car owning – only a little smarter. With shared resources you save both the climate and your wallet since you only pay when you actually use the service and drive the car”.
KINTO Share already have thousands of users and in the Stockholm-region there are more than 100 cars available. Meanwhile, KINTO is launching in more cities around in Sweden. The campaign will go live during the winter of 2021 and will be shown in digital medias, including banners, social and podcasts.
