They’re coming. Be ready.
With a winter world cup, no lockdown restrictions and people looking to entertain at home rather than go out, households can expect more guests for Christmas this year. Argos and The&Partnership have launched a new Christmas campaign, which celebrates the endearing festive chaos on the horizon for us all – with Argos uniquely positioned to save the day.
Sitting at the heart of the campaign is a film, which was shot by Director Gary Freedman and production company MJZ. It features caricatures of the loved ones we’re all used to seeing at Christmas, who quickly descend on a couple during the festive period. We see bonkers trifle-wielding aunties, riotous Nerf-kids and those distant relatives who always outstay their welcome.
Elsewhere across OOH, press, online and PR in the UK and ROI, the campaign will spotlight gifts and homeware with beautiful photography and witty copy. Cherry-picking stylish and desirable products that challenge perceptions of Argos – already a UK Christmas icon – as a destination for quality and style, as well as affordability.
