For the launch of their Pixel 2 phone, Google needed to reach the iPhone-loyal young female audience in a different way (as they didn’t respond to the ATL).

An influencer campaign was born, focusing on passionate individuals who like Google, ask more of the world around them and challenge the status quo. Based on a long-term strategy to avoid the pitfalls of standard ‘drive-by’ influencer marketing, the campaign allows them creative freedom to ask the questions they want in films created with the Pixel 2.

The full rollout included a coordinated PR and events plan, and the first instalment saw Adwoa Aboah create her ‘Ask More’ film, backed with a live change-maker panel discussion and press interviews with the Evening Standard, Hello and the Guardian.
